Andrew Beaman
I graduated as class valedictorian from Simon's Rock Early College with a BA in 1978, graduated cum laude with a JD from University of Michigan Law School in 1981, and practiced law with Chun, Kerr, Dodd Beaman & Wong from 1981 until I formed my firm in 2020.
I am listed in Martindale Hubbell, where I have an "av" rating, in The Best Lawyers in America and Chambers USA for litigation, and I am a Benchmark "Litigation Star," a "Superlawyer," and other periodicals. I served as a guest lecturer and an adjunct professor of law at the University of Hawaii William S. Richardson School of Law, where I taught a seminar in Pretrial Litigation for some years.
I concentrate in real estate and business litigation and provide services in mediation, arbitration, dispute resolution and expert witness and consulting services.
I have substantial experience in commercial and residential real estate disputes, land use litigation, complex bankruptcy and reorganization matters, commercial foreclosure and receiverships, transnational disputes, securities litigation, antitrust litigation, intellectual property disputes, and trust and probate disputes.
I am a member of the bar of the US Supreme Court, the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, the US District Court for the District of Hawaii, the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas, and the Supreme Court of the State of Hawaii.

Mediation, Arbitration, Dispute Resolution
Dispute resolution or alternative dispute resolution or ADR refers to various processes used to resolve a dispute between parties. ADR is usually an alternative to litigation and can be used to resolve any type of dispute.
Expert Witness
An expert witness, is a person whose opinion by virtue of education, training, certification, skills or experience, is accepted by the judge as an expert. Mr. Beaman has been duly qualified as an expert in the subject of the standard of practice for attorneys in Hawaii generally -- and the topics of corporate law, real estate law, bankruptcy law and other subjects specifically -- by courts in the State of Hawaii and by the Bankruptcy Court for the District of Hawaii.
